Featured Beers of the Month

Shilling Grapefruit (Cider)

Pours a hazy pale yellow with generous carbonation.  Aromas of grapefruit, citrus, and ginger on the nose.  Tart and crisp with a dry finish.   

Sam Smith Nut Brown (Brown Ale)

Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a relatively dry ale with rich nutty color and palate of beech nuts, almonds and walnuts         

Bell’s Two Hearted Ale (American IPA)

Brewed with 100% Centennial hops from the Pacific Northwest and maned after the Two Hearted River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit from massive hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter.

Global Beer Passport Challenge: July 1 – August 31

Passport Program begins! Drink a Global beer and get your passport stamped. Fill up as many as you want to enter yourself in a drawing to win a trip for 2 including airfare and hotel to Great American Beer Festival! Contest ends August 31st.


1st Annual Belgian Beer Tasting: Saturday, July 21st @ 3pm

As a representative on the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Belgian Beer is recognized as a true art in the world of brews. With almost 1,500 types of beer and a wide array of tastes from bitter to fruit forward to extremely sour, Belgium’s many cities, towns, and villages exports over $1.7 billion each year.

Come celebrate Belgian Independence Day on Saturday, ,July 21st with The Ginger Man in a guided tour of eight of the country’s tastiest brews. Enjoy some scrumptious bites, tasting notes, and great Belgian prizes all along the way.  Tickets sold in-store and via phone only.   Sales close two days prior to event.
