📚 The Legend of Dangerfield Day 📚
Did you ever wonder why we call it Dangerfield Day at The Ginger Man? Well, it all traces back to the roots of our beloved pub. The Ginger Man finds its inspiration in J.P. Donleavy’s iconic 1952 novel, “The Ginger Man,” where the central character, Sebastian Dangerfield, is a lively and adventurous spirit. Interestingly, certain aspects of the original owner, Bob, mirrored the vibrant and unpredictable nature of Dangerfield, and this connection became part of the soul of our establishment.
On this special day, we pay homage to the novel that sparked it all and celebrate the spirit of Dangerfield in true St. Patrick’s Day style.
Come early, stay late, and make it a Dangerfield Day to remember at The Ginger Man. We look forward to sharing the luck of the Irish with you on St. Patrick’s Day!
